Opening December 4, 2026: an elevated wellness experience inspired by the richly layered meaning of the Oceti Sakowin — the Council of Seven Fires.

Dakota Dunes Thermal Spa will feature thoughtfully designed pools, saunas, and serene relaxation areas within a striking two-storey space. Gathering spaces invite moments of connection and renewal, blending cultural inspiration with restorative wellness.

Exhibit Corridor & Wanuskewin Gift Shop

Journey through our exhibit corridor, where visual storytelling honours the history, traditions, and values of Whitecap Dakota Nation. At its end, explore the Wanuskewin Gift Shop, featuring authentic, artisan-made pieces crafted by First Nation creators.

Dakota Dunes will open Canada’s first Indigenous-inspired thermal spa in late 2026. The facility will feature 9 pools, numerous saunas, fires and personal wellness services.

The recreation area features multiple on-site entertainment options. Dakota Dunes Casino offers over 80,000 sq. Ft. of entertainment with more than 620 slots, 18 table games, poker, a high limit gaming room and a variety of dining options. Take in our rooftop indoor pool and state-of-the-art fitness centre, or enjoy seasonal adventures such as golf, e-bikes, Bannock & Bonfire, canoeing, and stargazing.

A state-of-the-art fitness centre is accessible for guests staying at the Dakota Dunes Resort. You may need your key card to access the fitness centre, so please make sure to carry it with you at all times while on-premises.
